When combining a new system with old cameras, you only need to use the POE injector (output).

This is because old cameras have a connection for power and data. Therefore the signal of the new system has to be separated first.

With the old system
& old cameras

When combining an old system and old cameras, you have to use one as usual POE injector (input) and use a POE injector (output).
